Allison Starkweather sealed her fate in middle school when she decided on a whim that she was going to write a book. She hasn’t been able to stop since. She attended UC Irvine where she earned a bachelor’s degree in the eminently-practical Classical Civilizations.
When not writing, Allison likes to get away from the computer and dabble in fiber arts. So far, she’s taught herself knitting, spinning, quilting, and cross stitch, though the latter never stuck. She also enjoys epic metaphors, pumpkin butter, and a disheartening number of cancelled TV shows.
